Our story
An independent homestay, Trishul Homestay sits in Dehradun, the valley town at the foot of the Garhwal Himalaya. The idea behind it is straightforward: a comfortable room, a good meal, honest prices and people who genuinely want your stay to go well.

Dehradun sits in a broad valley between the Shivalik hills and the first rise of the Himalaya, which gives it a milder climate than the plains and forested ridges on every horizon. It is the capital of Uttarakhand and home to long-standing institutions such as the Forest Research Institute and the Indian Military Academy. From here the road climbs to the hill station of Mussoorie, and the Ganga towns of Rishikesh and Haridwar are within a day trip.
